Located on the island of Porto Santo, Madeira, Portugal, Mar Dourado was established in 2004. Initially focused on water sports activities, it later expanded to offer boat tours and recreational fishing, which are its exclusive services today. The activities are carried out using three semi-rigid boats, allowing customers to fully enjoy the trips by getting close to the coast, exploring bays along the west coast, and swimming in unique spots with turquoise blue waters.
It is important to us that customers not only leave our trips enchanted by the landscapes but also knowledgeable about the history and geology of the places we visit. We also make sure to offer a small tasting of local and regional products. During the boat tour, guests can enjoy typical local pastries such as "broas" and Madeira wine. On the tour to the Farol Islet, we provide traditional "bolo do caco" (a type of bread) and other local delicacies.

Discover the geology and history of two islets near Porto Santo. Try to spot cetaceans along the way. Make a stop for diving or snorkeling at one of the islets (15-20 minutes). Return to the marina. If cetaceans are not spotted, we will head to the West coast of Porto Santo.
Includes transfer, regional tasting, and snorkeling equipment. Please bring a towel, sunscreen, and swimwear.

Fishing experience. Try bottom fishing on a 4-hour and 30-minute excursion.Available at 8:00 AM to 12:30 PM and 4:00 PM to 8:30 PM during the summer.

Depart from the Marina towards the landing dock of Farol Islet. Explore the trails, make stops at points of interest, and learn about the local fauna, flora, and geology. Enjoy a tasting of regional products near the lighthouse. Afterwards, return to the dock for the opportunity to go snorkeling or take a swim (15 to 20 minutes). Schedule: 9:30 AM. Includes transfers. Remember to bring closed-toe footwear, towel, swimwear, sunscreen, and a hat. Note: Not recommended for individuals with reduced mobility.

Visit the integral marine reserve of Porto Santo created in 2008 and just 500 metres from the marina. The idea of the reserve is to protect all the biodiversity of marine and terrestrial species. With our new panoramic boat we can observe marine life through a glass window where everyone has the opportunity to see the wonders of the underwater world.
Includes transfers, drinks and typical products. Swimsuit and towel required.
